Sr. Joanna Bruner Family Medicine Center

The Sister Joanna Bruner Family Medicine Center at Saint Joseph Hosptial in Denver provides health care for the entire family, regardless of age, gender or type of care needed. Our entire staff is dedicated to building a partnership with our patients to help them maintain good health.

In addition to providing medical care for people of all ages, we also provide resident training for graduate physicians. This program allows the Center to have a medical staff of more than 20 physicians, which assures our patients the best possible care.

Location

The Sister Joanna Bruner Family Medicine Center is located one half block north of Saint Joseph Hospital on the second floor of the Midtown Medical Building. Free parking is available in the Midtown parking lot or the Humboldt garage. Free valet parking is also available.

Hours

The Sister Joanna Bruner Family Medicine Center is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to Noon and 1 to 5 p.m.

Payment for Services

The Sr.Joanna Bruner Family Medicine Center has a "sliding fee" program. Patients are given the opportunity to discuss their financial situation privately with Financial Counselor. No patient is denied service due to inability to pay.

The Sr. Joanna Bruner Family Medicine Center participates in the following programs:

  • State and PCP Medicaid
  • Medicare
  • One Health Plan PPO, Pacificare, Secure Horizons and other insurance plans.

Your Health Care Team

PCMH2011On your first visit, you will be assigned to a resident physician or physician assistant who will be primarily responsible for your medical care. They will continue as your primary health care provider. Every effort is made to schedule your appointments with your regular resident physician, but sometimes you may be seen by a different physician or by a physician assistant.

When you call the clinic to speak with your physician, the receptionist will take your name and phone number and relay the message. A physician will return your call as soon as possible.

A physician is on call for emergency consultations 24 hours a day, seven days a week at 303-318-2500. If you need after hours care, please check with your physician before going to the emergency room. If hospitalization is required, your physician will be a part of your health care team at Saint Joseph Hospital. In case of life-threatening emergency, call 911.
